Debbie's Turn

Today I got to photograph Debbie Mitchell, designer of Twisted Silver Jewelry. Debbie is one of those people that when you meet her, you feel like you've known her for years. She's funky, fun, artsy and cute as heck. Debbie is so encouraging--if I could shoot people like her for the rest of me life, I'd be one happy lady. She warned me about her un-photogenicness.. but honestly, I think she's delusional--the camera LOVES her. Seeeee:

Thriving Ink

My friend Matt Dronkers started a T-shirt company called Thriving Ink, along with his amazing mother Brenda and awesome sister, Janelle. I've been lucky to be their guest photographer and do shots for their store and website. I was so happy to hear they were opening up a store in Pleasanton on main street.
Go to their grand opening party on April 3rd and help support an amazing local families company!
Here are some of my shorts for Thriving Ink:

Inspiration of the Day- Little People

If you know me well..you know that I love anything thats really big or anything thats super tiny and cute. When I stumbled across the Little People blog I nearly died. I don't know much about them..all I know is they're from London, they have a book called "Little People in the City", they take amazing pictures of little, hand-painted people and that the images are photographed by a street artist named Slinkachu. This is the kind of stuff that inspires me--stuff that stretches your mind and stuff you have to use you're imagination for. Check their blog out--its incredible.

shots from Twisted Silver

About two weeks ago I met Debbie Mitchell, the designer of Twisted Silver Jewelry. I had heard a lot about and have even worn the jewelry before because my best friend Kayla is one of the Twisted Silver models--So I was stoked when Debbie asked if I would photograph some models in TS pieces.
On Thursday Perri, Liina, Sheena, Kiley, Debbie and myself all headed out to a sweet barn and abandoned house in Livermore. At first I was stressed out and nervous about shooting more than one girl, but once I met the girls I calmed down and we had tons of fun. These girls are so beautiful on the inside and out and I hope its not the last time I shoot them.
I get to take pictures of Debbie tomorrow, which I'm stoked about because she is cute and could be!
Here are some shots from this fun photo adventure:
