Last week my buddy Brian Wong was in town so we decided to get together and do our thang. Wong is an incredible photographer who use to take mind blowingly awesome photos with an old rebel.. so i was stoked to see what he can do with his new 5D. Dang! He is so knowledgeable and even being with him for a couple hours I learned so much.

Thriving Ink Grand Opening

dduuuudeeee, I'm so proud of the Dronker family and excited for the future of Thriving Ink. I know how tough it is for clothing stores downtown Pleasanton, but the shop has such a great vibe and such awesome inventory that I know (even in this economy) that they will do great! I love that they use young designers to make their t-shirts, local models, amature photographers (like meee), etc. They're such a great family that treats their friends like family members and have appreciated and made me feel loved from the start. Go check out their store, its awesome and they did it themselves! Impressive..

Debbie's Turn

Today I got to photograph Debbie Mitchell, designer of Twisted Silver Jewelry. Debbie is one of those people that when you meet her, you feel like you've known her for years. She's funky, fun, artsy and cute as heck. Debbie is so encouraging--if I could shoot people like her for the rest of me life, I'd be one happy lady. She warned me about her un-photogenicness.. but honestly, I think she's delusional--the camera LOVES her. Seeeee:

Thriving Ink

My friend Matt Dronkers started a T-shirt company called Thriving Ink, along with his amazing mother Brenda and awesome sister, Janelle. I've been lucky to be their guest photographer and do shots for their store and website. I was so happy to hear they were opening up a store in Pleasanton on main street.
Go to their grand opening party on April 3rd and help support an amazing local families company!
Here are some of my shorts for Thriving Ink:
