Michaela's Senior Portraits

A couple months ago I got a facebook message from Michaela-- she asked me if I would take pictures of her for her senior portraits. And of course, I said YES! It took us a while to actually pick a date and get together but today, we went on a shoot! Aside from Perri Klumm, I usually have to direct the models, but Michaela was such a natural in front of the lens. Shes a sassy little thing, with some rad tattoos and an impeccable fashion sense..check out this beauty:

With a crazy weekend of nothing but busyness, stressfulness and being around a lot of people.. today I decided to go on a long drive, unwind, regain my sanity and take some pictures. But taking pictures of greenery and little ponds turned into a day of self-portraits. 

So here I am people.. take me as I am.. narcissism and all!

updates & awkwardness

it's been a while since I last posted any real pictures..and I feel like it's even been a while since I last took a picture I was actually stoked about. I've been pretty busy with work and life lately but am excited for the next couple months and the photo gigs I have set up. I've been really inspired lately and want to do a couple series for fun. Until then, you should probably check out awkwardfamilyphotos.com. It's a hilarious website full of embarrassing and awful family portraits. Pretty much it's everything I DON'T want to do..but everything I want to laugh at.
